Energy work and different therapies have been a theme in my life since the age of 18 when I was introduced to reflexology and healthy eating. In 1994 I studied reflexology which opened the door to my lifelong passion; Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In 2000 I studied shiatsu which I later taught at colleges in Gauteng, and in 2023 I published my book The Shiatsu Studio’s Acupressure for Common Ailments – a practical guide to using acupressure for everyday health concerns.

Over the years, I’ve studied a variety of complementary modalities, including Feng Shui, the Emotion Code, Body Code, Quantum Touch, the Dorn Method, and Human Design. I’m interested in crystals and essential oils, in quantum physics, brain chemistry, the Law of Attraction, Business Energetics, and anything Chinese.

I previously developed Shiatsu Gems, a range of 15 condition-specific wellness kits addressing topics like menopause, motivation, sinus relief, and insomnia. I also currently work as a virtual assistant supporting professionals in the TCM field.

Now, I play with energy, do yoga a couple of times a week, and spend most of the day in my sunny office. I enjoy interesting non-fiction books, particularly when about energy work or Chinese medicine. I am fussy about my tea, I enjoy coffee dates with friends, and chocolate is medicine.
